GB WhatsApp for Mac

Install GB WhatsApp on macOS
BlueStacks Air is the recommended emulator for Mac. Other options exist (Genymotion, Android Studio's emulator) but BlueStacks Air is the lowest-friction path for a chat app — it boots in seconds and keeps memory pressure manageable.
Download BlueStacks Air for macOS
Visit bluestacks.com and grab the macOS installer. BlueStacks Air supports both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) natively and Intel Macs via Rosetta-style translation. The .dmg is roughly 700 MB.
Install BlueStacks Air
Open the .dmg, drag BlueStacks Air into Applications. First-launch grants take 30 seconds — accept the network and file-access permissions when macOS prompts.
Download the GB WhatsApp Pro APK to your Mac
Tap the green Download button at the top of this page from Safari, Chrome or Firefox. Save GB WhatsApp Pro_v18.80.apk to Downloads. The APK is universal — same arm64 + armv7 + x86_64 slices that run on any Android device.
Drag the APK onto the BlueStacks Air window
BlueStacks imports the APK in 5-10 seconds. The app appears on the emulator home screen.
Sign in and tune performance
Open the app inside BlueStacks. Enter your phone number with country code, receive OTP on your SIM-holding device, type it in. BlueStacks Settings → Performance → set 4 GB RAM and 4 CPU cores for smooth typing.

macOS-specific notes
Things to know on Mac
- Apple Silicon Macs run BlueStacks Air with native ARM translation — performance is roughly 2x what an Intel Mac of the same generation hits.
- Hand-off works: send a chat from the Mac emulator and continue typing on your phone seamlessly.
- macOS Spaces let you isolate the BlueStacks window to its own desktop — chat distraction-free.
- iCloud sync does NOT cover GB WhatsApp Pro data. Backups stay inside the emulator file system — copy out manually for safety.
- macOS keyboard shortcuts (Cmd+C / Cmd+V) work inside the emulator but feel slightly delayed compared to native apps.
